When my ac is on the belt squeaks so loud that I have to turn it off. I have been putting some lubricant on the belt and it stops the squeaking but it only lasts for a short time. The air coming through is very cold. Thanks

Hi!

What happens is the belt gets glazed from slipping and will squeak , and lube wont stop it you will have to replace the belt to stop the squeak! and set to proper tension.

Hope this helps ROY!
