I am experiencing a brake noice on my 2006 Nissan Maxima. I took the car into the Dealership yesterday and they said there appears to be no problem. But just recently I am getting a clunking noice that sounds terrible when I brake and it happened again after I left the dealership. I am at a loss as to how to get this issue resolved.

Hi!

On the brake noise there is no bulletins on this for the 2006 maxima. I would replace the brake pads and lube the slides , I would try to go to another dealer to see if they would help. Thanks ROY!

Reply to Roy's Post: The Nissan Dealership that I went to said that I had 7 to 9000 miles left on the existing pads ? They recommended that I do nothing. To me, not to be mean, your answer seems to be a try this and if that doesn't work try this method. Thanks for your efforts but your reply is the same run-a-round I received yesterday.
